Area Sales Manager (North)

Job Location: Head Office, Bangkok and Northern Region

Report to: Regional Sales Manager (North)

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive business development with existing and potential customers to achieve sales targets, profitability, and market share for the company’s gypsum products and accessories for drywall and ceiling systems.

• Develop and expand the distribution network, including dealers, sub-dealers, and key accounts, in the assigned area.

• Identify new market opportunities, increase product coverage, and drive sales of core products and new product development (NPD) through distribution channels.

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and business partners to support sustainable business growth.

• Collect and analyse market information, including customer needs, competitor activities, pricing, and distribution trends, to support sales strategy.

• Propose and implement local sales and marketing plans, promotions, and sales forecasts to improve regional performance and market share.

• Manage and develop key-account dealers, specialist dealers, and sub-dealers through business planning, product training, and sales activities.

• Coordinate with project sales teams and internal departments to support project opportunities, sales processes, customer service, and issue resolution.

• Monitor pricing in the assigned area and support effective price management in line with company policy.

• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and other assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or related disciplines.

• Good understanding of sales, distribution development, market analysis, pricing, promotions, and forecasting.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Customer-oriented with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.

• Good analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Self-motivated, proactive, trustworthy, and results-driven.

• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Salesforce or SAP is an advantage.

• Fluent command of Thai. Fair command of English, both spoken and written.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 years of experience in sales, distribution sales, channel development, account management, or business development.

• Experience in construction materials, building materials, gypsum products, drywall or ceiling systems, or related industries is preferred.

• Experience working with dealers, sub-dealers, key accounts, and project-related sales would be an advantage.

• Proven track record in market development, distribution expansion, and achieving sales targets.

• Fluent in Thai. Basic command of English will be an advantage.
