The Role

Duties and Responsibilities

Accountable that the financial books and records are maintained in compliance with Siemens Financial Reporting guidelines, IFRS and local GAAP.
Drive continuous optimization of organizational set-up with a focus on synergies, cooperation and output quality for accounting, controlling and reporting.
Coordinate the monthly closing activities in close cooperation with Siemens Logistics headquarter.
Ensure that an adequate internal control framework is in place to provide reason assurance that the financial statements are true in any material aspect.
Manage and coordinate external and internal (financial related) audits.
Responsible for the integrity of books and records, and for an effective Risk Management and internal control system in line with the Global framework.
Prepare the local statutory financial statements and ensuring that all additional statutory reporting requirements are adhered to.
Ensure tax compliance by gathering and organizing financial data, preparing tax returns and annual refund documents, and ensuring accurate and timely submissions to government agencies.

Ideal Profile

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent professional certification.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting or related fields, preferably with experience in outsourced accounting services.
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles such as IFRS and Local GAAP, preferably knowledge in regards to Siemens FRG.
Proficiency in accounting and ERP software (preferably SAP) as well as Microsoft Office applications
Strong experience in tax compliance, including tax filings, preparing returns, ensuring timely submissions, and staying updated on local tax regulations.
Strong cooperation, communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members and leaders; ability to translate requirements into working solutions.
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
Team player with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
Strong stakeholder networking ability and communications skills as well as eager to learn.
