Job Summary

Responsible for management (preparation, assembly, review, and submittal) of responses to Request for Proposals (RFP). Assigned proposals may range from small to large scope and generally have medium to high-risk profiles.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for management (preparation, assembly, review, and submittal) of responses to Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with governance. Assigned proposals may range from small to large scope and generally have medium to high-risk profiles. Typically, this pursuit manager has a primary solution, or a primary client with multiple solutions, they focus on to achieve results. This professional interfaces directly with and provides support to the sales manager, the project director, and the project manager to set the proposal execution strategy / schedule, assemble proposal response team, and develop the project execution plan and value proposition / win strategies. Ensure conceptual design and business enablement functional teams (estimating, project controls, construction, procurement, subcontracts, LIFTT) are held accountable to provide deliverables in accordance with proposal development schedule. Monitors and manages pursuit team expenditures to align with approved budgets. Participate in cost review and influences team to provide responses with competitive cost and value. Facilitate risk determination / mitigation and leadership approval discussions. Supports negotiation and closure of deals. Facilitate discussion and actions to transition proposal basis information to the project execution team upon contract signature.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical project execution field.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum - Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience. 6+ years of engineering, project execution or technical pursuit management experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
