Bangpa-in Cogeneration Limited

Founded in 2011, Bangpa-in Cogeneration Company Limited (BIC) is a Small Power Producer (SPP) Cogeneration that collaborates with business partners and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) to develop and operate a combined capacity of approximately 120 MW.

BIC is a producer and distributor of electricity and steam from the natural gas-fired cogeneration power The company operates two facilities: Bangpa-in Cogeneration Power Plant 1 and 2. Both power plants are located in Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate, Amphoe Bang Pa-in, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Bangpa-in Cogeneration Power Plant 1 has an installed capacity of 118 MW of electricity and 20 tons of steam per hour. The power plant has a Power Purchase Agreement with EGAT to sell 90 MW of electricity for a period of 25 years from the Commercial Operation Date, with the remainder of electricity and steam to be sold to industrial operators in Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Under the general direction from the Electrical Leader, maintaining and repairing all equipment in the plant. Performing any duties necessary to keep the plant running in a safe and economical manner.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining and repairing all electrical equipment in the plant

Performing any duties necessary recommended by Electrical Leader or Maintenance Manager

Learning instrument/control skills to cover the colleagues’ absence when necessary

Performing duties in a safe manner and wearing the required safety equipment

Learning different plant processes and attending seminars suggested by Electrical Leader or Maintenance Manager

Making on line drawings of all systems in the plant

Assisting in plant housekeeping

Performing other duties as assigned

Becoming familiar with plant operations

Being trained as operator, shift leader

Performing any duties in a safe and economical manner, taking reasonably care of the health and safety, avoiding unsafe shortcuts or fail to follow established procedures that might negatively impact on health, safety or the environment

Being aware and playing a vital role considering the essential of Environmental Management in accordance with ISO System

Other task following supervisor’s assignment or company policy

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Electrical or other related fields.

At least 4 year of experience working in power plant maintenance or related fields.

Good command of English.

Able to work at Ayutthaya province.
