About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established Thai company operating in the automotive and heavy equipment industry , with a growing business covering sales, after-sales service, spare parts and related products.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Managing Director (MD) to lead the company's next phase of growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the MD will take a key leadership role in driving business strategy, P&L performance, sales growth, operational excellence and organizational development .

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced General Manager, Business Unit Head, Commercial Director or senior Sales & Operations leader who is ready to take broader responsibility for an entire business.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Business Leadership

Develop and execute short- and long-term business strategies aligned with the company's vision and growth objectives.
Identify new market opportunities, industry trends and competitive developments.
Translate business strategy into clear commercial and operational priorities.

P&L & Financial Management

Take overall responsibility for company P&L and business performance.
Manage budgets, profitability and operating costs effectively.
Identify opportunities to improve margins, productivity and overall business efficiency.

Sales & Marketing Leadership

Set and drive sales strategies and targets across the business.
Lead and develop the sales organization to achieve revenue objectives.
Oversee marketing campaigns, promotions and CRM initiatives.
Develop strategies to expand existing and new customer segments.

After-sales & Customer Experience

Drive growth in after-sales service, spare parts and accessories.
Establish and improve customer experience and service standards.
Take ownership of critical customer issues and ensure effective resolution.
Strengthen customer retention and long-term customer relationships.

Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including:
- OEM / manufacturing partners
- Financial institutions
- Insurance companies
- Government authorities
- Key business partners and customers

People & Organizational Development

Lead and develop Heads of Departments and the broader management team.
Establish clear KPIs and performance management processes.
Build a result-oriented, accountable and customer-focused organization.
Develop management capabilities and succession within the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or a related field. MBA is an advantage.
7–10+ years of senior management experience in a GM, Director, MD or equivalent leadership position.
Proven experience in Automotive, Heavy Equipment, Heavy Machinery, Commercial Vehicles, Industrial Equipment or related industries .
Strong experience in commercial management and P&L responsibility.
Demonstrated track record in sales growth and business development.
Experience managing multiple functions and senior management teams.
Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong business acumen with the ability to use data to support decision-making.
Good command of English.
High level of integrity, accountability and ownership.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on and results-oriented leadership style.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: THB 100,000–120,000 per month
Company EV or fuel card allowance of up to 400 litres/month
Performance-based incentive / commission
Executive-level opportunity with direct exposure to the CEO
