Job description

As a Simulator Specialist IT, you will play a key role in supporting our training operations in Bangkok by ensuring the reliable operation of our simulator systems, IT infrastructure and technical equipment. You will be the local technical point-of-contact and work closely with Simulator Pilots and other colleagues to support high-quality training delivery, simulator pilot planning and the continued development of EPN Asia.

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Operate, maintain and develop our simulator systems, as well as IT and technical equipment supporting both training and business operations

• Act as the primary point of contact for simulator, IT and technical matters onsite

• Support the planning, coordination and competence development of Simulator Pilot resources to meet operational and training needs

• Manage agreed data preparation, testing and exercise-related tasks for the simulator, including local configuration and modifications

• Contribute to building a stronger and more autonomous technical setup in EPN Asia over time

The position is based in Bangkok and may require occasional travel, particularly during the onboarding period. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Your team

You will be one of the first employees at EPN Asia and play an important role in building the technical foundation of our new Bangkok site. You will work closely with the Site Manager and Training Director & Head of Training to ensure a stable and effective technical environment supporting all training activities.

You will report to the Site Manager while collaborate with specialist teams across the EPN Group, including IT, Data Preparation, Training Design & Simulation and other functions.

Your background

We are looking for someone with:

• Minimum 5 years' experience within IT, simulator systems or a similar technical environment

• A relevant university degree within IT, engineering, software development or other technical field

• Experience of working with IT in the cloud ( ideally M365 and Azure systems) and other digital tools

• Strong technical skills and a genuine interest and curiosity in technology and problem-solving

• Fluency in Thai (verbal and written) and a good understanding of Thai and Southeast Asian cultures

• Strong business English skills

• Experience from aviation, training or simulation environments and/or working with ITIL is an advantage

You are service-minded, hands-on and enjoy solving technical challenges. You work in a structured and proactive way, build strong relationships with colleagues and users, and take pride in delivering reliable technical support in a dynamic training environment.

Intended salary range for this role: THB 40,000–70,000 per month. We recognise that candidates bring different levels of experience and expertise, and the final offer will be determined accordingly.
