• The Transportation Officer plays a key role in ensuring smoothness of export lens, frames, sunglasses and import materials to Thailand plants.
• The Transportation Officer will have the opportunity to firstly join EssilorLuxottica and work in a newly built Business Unit dedicated to the manufacturing and distribution of eyeglasses and sun frames.
• In a second stage he/she will have the chance to step in a brand-new greenfield project that is expected to change the shape of EssilorLuxottica operations footprint in Thailand and overall company Supply Chain global network.
• He/she will join the Transportation Team reporting to the Import Specialist, will have daily interactions with the Logistics Manager, the Customer Service & Export Transportation Specialist and Import supervisor and will act as key figure in order to coordinate, follow-up and execute all import/export related activities.
• Undertake other duties as appropriate within his/her competence, as required by superior from time to time.

My day at EssilorLuxottica

• Coordinate intercompany and external suppliers in order to arrange the export of lens, frames, sunglasses and import of materials to support production lines and machines.
• Follow-up shipments with Carriers and Brokers to assure shipments are delivered within the committed deadlines.
• Oversee the main Transportation KPIs (lead time, service level, etc.), report results on a daily/weekly basis and deep them dive in order to make sure targets are achieved.
• Handle import/export shipment-related documents (e.g. Invoice, Packing List, Import Entry Declaration, etc.) and properly organize them.
• Propose any improvement opportunity to existing way of working challenging the status quo.

Must have

• Familiar with international trade and logistics rules and management (e.g. INCOTERMS, KPIs, Free Trade Agreement, Import & Export processes) and with Thailand Customs legislation, requirements, and standard operating procedures.
• Experience of handling Free Trade Zone Customs operation, especially experience in relation to export/import of raw materials, chemicals, machines.
• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics Management or related field
• At least three years of experience in a multinational company.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (usage of pivot is a must).
• Propension to logical and analytical forward-thinking.
• KPI driven mindset.
• Remarkable communication skills.
