Job Scope

The SAP ABAP Developer will work closely with SAP Business Analysts to analyze business requirements, propose solutions, and implement developments. The role involves migrating programs to the S/4HANA platform, enhancing/redesigning applications using new S/4 technologies, and developing Fiori apps.

Job Responsibilities

• Support SAP Business Analysts in all project phases.
• Migrate existing programs to the S/4HANA platform and enhance/redesign applications using new S/4 technologies.
• Develop Fiori applications for the S/4HANA platform while maintaining support for ECC until full migration.
• Review business requirements, design solutions with Business Analysts, and provide cost estimates.
• Implement solutions, conduct unit testing, and create/update technical specifications.
• Provide regular progress updates to Business Analysts.
• Assist in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Share knowledge with developer colleagues regarding new solutions and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with SAP ECC and in-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP programming.
• Experience with Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAP Script, and report building.
• Hands-on experience in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• SAP S/4HANA training or certification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with an open-minded approach to problem-solving.
• Fluency in English (oral and written) is required.
• Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in SAP HANA Studio (Eclipse), UI5, SAP Fiori, API, and Web Services.
• Strong experience in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience with low-code platforms (e.g., Neptune) is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL, JavaScript, XML, XML Annotations, Basic ALE skills, and CSS is advantageous.
