Position Overview

Our client, an established enterprise software and SAP solutions provider, is seeking an experienced ERP Technical Consultant Manager to lead its Technical Consulting team and support the delivery of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and SAP Business One projects.

This position combines technical leadership, team management, project oversight, customer engagement and pre-sales support. The successful candidate will oversee ERP implementation, system integration, cloud deployment and post-go-live technical services.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management

• Lead, manage, mentor and develop the Technical Consulting team.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching and performance management.
• Establish technical standards, implementation methodologies, best practices and quality-assurance processes.
• Plan and allocate resources according to project schedules, support commitments and business priorities.
• Promote knowledge sharing, continuous learning and professional development.

ERP Implementation and Technical Consulting

• Oversee ERP installation, configuration, customization, upgrades, migration, integration and go-live support.
• Work closely with Functional Consultants, Project Managers, customers and third-party vendors.
• Review technical designs and implementation plans to ensure alignment with customer requirements and architecture standards.
• Advise customers on ERP solutions, deployment approaches, system performance and technical best practices.
• Manage the transition from implementation to post-go-live support and customer handover.

System Integration and Technical Solutions

• Lead the design and delivery of system integrations, data migrations, reporting solutions and third-party application connectivity.
• Review and approve technical specifications, solution architectures, development standards and deployment procedures.
• Oversee custom development projects and ensure deliverables meet quality and performance standards.
• Ensure technical solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned with business requirements.

Customer Support and Service Delivery

• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues and critical customer cases.
• Ensure technical incidents and support requests are resolved within agreed timelines.
• Monitor service quality, customer satisfaction and team performance.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders through professional technical consulting and support.

Cloud and Technology Advisory

• Advise customers on on-premise, hosted and cloud-based ERP deployment options.
• Coordinate with customers, cloud providers and third-party vendors on infrastructure, integration, connectivity, performance and security.
• Review infrastructure readiness and system requirements for ERP implementations.
• Evaluate new technologies, software releases, patches and upgrades.

Pre-Sales Support

• Provide technical expertise during customer meetings, solution demonstrations, proposal preparation and presentations.
• Support project scoping, effort estimation, technical requirements and solution architecture.
• Participate in customer workshops to understand requirements and recommend suitable solutions.

Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation standards, operating procedures and knowledge bases.
• Drive improvements in project delivery, service quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Stay current with ERP platforms, cloud technologies and industry best practices.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or a related field.
