The team you will be part of

By delivering on financial insights, strategic analysis, and data-driven recommendations, the team plays a critical role in guiding growth and ensuring long-term success. From planning and forecasting to optimizing performance and supporting key commercial initiatives, Our Finance team is a key partner across every function. With a strong focus on integrity, accuracy, and collaboration, its goal is to ensure the company remains financially strong, agile, and ready for the future.

The role, as part of the Country Finance Team

• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Collaborate with business unit leaders to analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, offering financial guidance aligned with strategic goals. Implement strategies for improved financial performance and efficiency.
• Process Improvement: Work with the Regional Finance Team and the Finance Shared Service Centre to drive process improvements in finance through automation, AI, and process understanding, streamlining operations, and enhancing financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Review Month-end Closing: Critically review the month-end close prepared by the Finance Shared Service Centre, ensuring transactions are accurately and policy-compliantly recorded. Investigate discrepancies to their root cause and partner with the Shared Service Centre to ensure corrections are properly resolved and verified before reporting.
• Audit and Financial Reporting: Lead local statutory audits (TFRS for NPAEs), coordinating with auditors to ensure timely and smooth completion, and take the lead in preparing, reviewing, and submitting the financial reporting package to the overseas group company in accordance with IFRS.
• Assist Head of Finance: Support departmental management, planning, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

What we are looking for - the ideal profile

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or relevant professional qualification is a plus.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, business partnering, audit, or financial reporting. Background audit experience with a BIG4 firm is a plus.
• Industry Domain Experience: Prior experience in the retail or e-commerce industry is highly preferred.
• Data and Analytics Tools: Strong proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Excel, or other advanced data visualization and query tools (such as SQL, Power BI, Looker Studio/Data Studio, or Python).
• Systems and ERP Familiarity: Hands-on experience working with ERP and accounting systems, with Oracle NetSuite being a distinct advantage.
• Analytical Capabilities: Sharp analytical capabilities with a meticulous, data-driven approach to solving complex business problems.
• Business Acumen: Commercial mindset to look beyond numbers and partner with stakeholders to drive growth.
• Shared Service Collaboration: Comfort and proven track record of collaborating with an overseas Shared Service Centre (SSC) that specifically supports and handles the Thailand market, maintaining seamless operational alignment while retaining local country finance accountability.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of Thai and English (written and spoken) to effectively align with local stakeholders and regional management.
• Accounting Standards Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Thai statutory accounting standards (TFRS for NPAEs) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for group reporting packages.
• Work Adaptability: Ability to excel, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced, high-growth, and dynamic environment.
