Sales Manager - Modern Trade

​Peak Recruitment has partnered with a leading condiment and seasoning manufacturer, part of one of China's largest condiment groups, for the commercial presence in Thailand.

The Modern Trade Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding the client's modern trade channel across Thailand, working directly with chain supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores and retail platforms.

The successful candidate will drive terminal coverage and store display execution, manage new product listings, and handle retail customer negotiation, contracts and after-sales relationships, while tracking market trends and channel performance for headquarters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above; major in Marketing, International Trade or related fields preferred.

• Proven track record in sales within the Food or FMCG industry, with a strong understanding of Thailand's Modern Trade structure and condiment categories, including cooking sauces, fish sauce, oyster sauce and seasoning powders.

• Strong understanding of Thailand's Modern Trade landscape, retail market dynamics, account structures and store operation models, with the ability to develop and optimise key retail channels.

• Proven capability in key account management, commercial negotiation, trade terms, promotions and channel coordination.

• Adaptable and willing to undertake frequent nationwide travel.

• Basic English communication skills required.

• Right to work in Thailand, and Thai language fluency.
