Our client is a leading consumer goods company in Thailand with a strong portfolio of well-established brands and an extensive nationwide distribution network.

Job Description

• Develop and lead the overall Trade Marketing strategy across key channels, aligned with the company's commercial and brand objectives.
• Translate category, brand, shopper, and consumer insights into actionable channel and customer strategies.
• Lead the development of annual trade plans, promotional strategies, channel initiatives, and customer activation programs.
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Category, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure strong commercial execution.
• Develop channel-specific strategies across traditional trade, modern trade, convenience, e-commerce, and other relevant channels.
• Drive improvements in distribution, visibility, assortment, promotional effectiveness, and in-store execution.
• Manage and optimise trade marketing investment, ensuring strong ROI and commercial impact.
• Establish effective trade marketing KPIs and performance tracking to evaluate initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Trade Marketing team, building stronger commercial and analytical capabilities.
• Work closely with key customers and commercial stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and develop joint business initiatives.
• Provide market, channel, customer, and competitive insights to support broader business and portfolio decisions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Trade Marketing should have:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, Commercial, Channel Marketing, Category Management, or related commercial functions.
• Strong experience within FMCG, consumer goods, retail, or other highly consumer-driven businesses.
• Proven track record in developing and executing trade marketing and channel strategies at scale.
• Strong understanding of Thailand's retail and distribution landscape, including modern trade, traditional trade, convenience, and emerging channels.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect trade marketing initiatives to revenue, profitability, and business growth.
• Experience managing trade investment, promotional effectiveness, and commercial KPIs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence Sales, Marketing, Finance, and senior leadership.
• Proven people leadership experience and the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, combined with a hands-on approach to execution.
• Fluency in English is preferred.
