Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the hotel's day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, effective cost management, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The role works closely with the General Manager and Department Heads to provide financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial insights that support the hotel's profitability and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the hotel's daily accounting and finance operations
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial closing and reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
• Monitor hotel revenue, expenses, cash flow, and working capital
• Lead the annual budgeting process with the General Manager and department heads
• Prepare monthly forecasts and financial projections
• Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast
• Monitor departmental expenses and hotel operating costs
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Cashier functions
• Lead and develop the hotel's Finance team

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably within hospitality
• Previous experience as Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Assistant Financial Controller, or equivalent
• Strong hotel accounting and financial reporting knowledge
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and P&L management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong Excel and financial reporting capabilities
• Good command of English
• Strong in team leadership and development
• Experience in Thailand hospitality is an advantage
