Field Operator I, TRS

Field Operator is responsible for performing hands-on field operations utilizing Weatherford's equipment, tools, and systems. This role operates under direct supervision and follows detailed work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure successful and compliant service delivery. While primarily operational, the role includes elements of quality control, equipment maintenance, documentation, and HSE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform rig-up and rig-down of equipment as per work instructions and training.
• Operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment.
• Perform unloading, disassembly, cleaning, pressure testing, inspection, reassembly, and storage of tools.
• Conduct functional tests and record performance per SOPs.
• Drive and operate vehicles, including pickups and truck-mounted units, to and from well sites.
• Follow all technical work instructions and maintain operational documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors within physical job constraints.

Qualifications

Skills:

• Basic mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to perform equipment maintenance, repair, and monitoring.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and active learning skills.
• Good reading, writing, and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to operational demands.
• Capable of interpreting technical instructions and schematics.
• Familiarity with tools and the ability to visualize assembly or repairs.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in the field

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 years of experience in the oil & gas industry or related field.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including international assignments.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness and ability to work in challenging outdoor environments.

Preferred:

• 0-1 years of experience in Tubular Running Services or TRS
• Technical Diploma preferred
