Manager, Market Access & Government Affairs

Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Manager for Market Access & Government Affairs in Bangkok to advance reimbursement strategies and stakeholder engagement for medical device products. The role combines policy expertise, health economics knowledge, and relationship-building to improve patient access to innovative technologies across Thailand's healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with hospital stakeholders including OR/cath lab staff, billing, administration, and physicians to develop customized reimbursement plans
• Build strategic partnerships with sales, marketing, government affairs, regulatory, and medical affairs teams to drive market access initiatives across geography
• Develop and communicate health economic analyses and patient preference data to internal leadership and external stakeholders
• Engage with KOLs, medical societies, Ministry of Health, HITAP, and industry associations to support value proposition development
• Represent company in interactions with patient advocacy organizations and manage coverage policy discussions with payors

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Health Policy, or related field with 8+ years relevant experience, OR Master's degree with 5+ years experience
• Strong expertise in Thai health policy, health economics, medical device reimbursement, and HTA
• Proven field-based reimbursement role experience within Thailand healthcare industry
• Preferred: 5+ years supporting market access and reimbursement in Thailand healthcare sector
• Fluency in Thai and English reading, writing, and speaking preferred
• Understanding of medical/clinical research methods and ability to interpret evidence
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
