Production Team Leader (MFW3.1)

This site is the  integral manufacturing plant and R&D Center . It is the first smart factory in Thailand. It will enable us to respond to growing automobile production in Thailand and to serve international as well as local automotive customers on the spot. The supplier of technology and services is focusing heavily on connected manufacturing at the factory.

Manufacturing Plant:  The Company is constructing its first plant of the manufacturing of gasoline injection systems in Thailand. It is capable of production 1 million fuel injector units every year. With the new fuel injector plant we are able to meet the increasing demand of our customers in the region.

R&D Center: The R&D office and laboratory are located on same site as production. In order to have dedicated laboratory accommodating automotive specific machine and equipment such as fuel testing benches and Noise, Vibration, Harshness chambers.

Job Description

• Follow daily, weekly, monthly objectives and communicate them to direct employees.
• Manage and Control of daily production based on the defined targets (OEE, Productivity, IDC, Delivery, and OT).
• Co-operate with cross-functional team to full-fill the production volume and achieve SQCD target.
• Support troubleshooting analyzing root causes of failures and solving them, if necessary, suggestion of improvements.
• Review and Proof Production data record (M/C check sheet, 5S, Tool life, 4M, Parameter and so on).
• Lead people to follow the standards to fulfill BPS requirement on the shop floor (Point CIP, SMC, LPC, 14Q Basics, 4M, QAM, FMEA-Linewalk).
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance and calibrations.
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures/ Maintain skill matrix and coordinate proper trainings.
• Lead of shopfloor production meeting (Component area, Main assembly, Final assembly and Audit room).
• Keep and maintain the plant standards in shopfloor (Safety, 5s, BPS, Pull principle, ISO14001, IATF16949).
• Manage and support HR function (Vacations, leaves, absenteeism).
• Advise and motivate direct associate for small improvement activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• Have 3-5 years of work experience as a   Leader position in automation field.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams for quality improvement and complaint management.
• Have leadership, quality mindset, entrepreneurial mindset and problem solving skills.
• Have knowledge of IATF 16949 and  ISO14001 requirements and Core Tools (Point CIP, SMC, LPC, 14Q Basics, 4M, QAM, and FMEA).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Good communication skills in English.
