Sales Manager, Global Trade Solutions

We are currently seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as a  Vice President ,  Sales Manager - Global Trade Solutions

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of Global Trade Solutions (GTS) clients in the Global Network Banking segment (with particular focus on Chinese headquartered clients) to provide solutions and GTS structures that meet the client’s trade and working capital needs
• Establish new client relationships and strengthen existing ones, while ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
• Lead the Greater China Corridor proposition for GTS and grow revenue from clients with headquarters in China by closely collaborating with stakeholders in Thailand and China.
• Proactively identify core & structured trade finance opportunities, lead client pitches and develop these opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship managers and product specialists, to maximize cross-selling opportunities for the bank.
• Supporting plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones, in order to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets
• Participating in events, initiatives and activities to develop business opportunities
• Protecting the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile whilst deepening your understanding of the client

Qualifications: 

• Strong experience in front line roles in the Banking industry with ability to interact with business customers at all levels of seniority and a proven track record of leading and executing opportunities
• Strong understanding of trade & working capital financing structures
• Fluent written and spoken Mandarin language skills
• A collaborative team player, who can work on a self-directed basis, and balance multiple diverse priorities and stakeholders.
• Strong independent contributor, who is comfortable working on multiple assignments, where the teams will often be distributed across the Globe.
• University degree holder (Finance, Business or related discipline)
