Country Manager

About the Role

A global commercial space and geospatial intelligence provider delivers customized satellite solutions, high-resolution imagery, and advanced data analytics across sectors including mining, energy, agriculture, maritime, utilities, and infrastructure. To support business expansion in Southeast Asia, the organization is seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Commercial Professional to establish and grow its presence in Thailand, leading B2B and B2G business development initiatives from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Growth: Lead and execute market entry and revenue generation strategies across Thailand.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate high-level relationships with Thai government agencies, public-sector entities, state-owned enterprises, and enterprise accounts.
• Sector Penetration: Identify and win business opportunities across target verticals, including mining, oil and gas, agriculture, infrastructure, utilities, maritime, and environmental monitoring.
• Ecosystem Partnerships: Develop strategic alliances with local system integrators, GIS firms, engineering companies, and technology partners.
• Deal Execution: Oversee complex sales cycles end-to-end, from strategic positioning and client proposal through contract negotiation and closure.
• Local Operations: Support the initial setup, operational development, and future scaling of the Bangkok office.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Experience: At least 5 years of demonstrated success in enterprise sales, business development, or strategic partnerships.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong background in satellite solutions, aerospace, geospatial tech, remote sensing, GIS, telecommunications, energy, mining, or government projects.
• Industry Network: Established network across Thai public-sector agencies, state-owned enterprises, and major enterprise accounts.
• Mindset: Entrepreneurial drive with a proven ability to build market traction independently in an early-stage growth environment.
• Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken); professional proficiency in Thai is strongly preferred.
