Test Engineer (PS-CC -Connector)

This site is the  integral manufacturing plant and R&D Center . It is the first smart factory in Thailand. It will enable us to respond to growing automobile production in Thailand and to serve international as well as local automotive customers on the spot. The supplier of technology and services is focusing heavily on connected manufacturing at the factory.

Manufacturing Plant:  The Company is constructing its first plant of the manufacturing of gasoline injection systems in Thailand. It is capable of production 1 million fuel injector units every year. With the new fuel injector plant we are able to meet the increasing demand of our customers in the region.

R&D Center: The R&D office and laboratory are located on same site as production. In order to have dedicated laboratory accommodating automotive specific machine and equipment such as fuel testing benches and Noise, Vibration, Harshness chambers.

Job Description

1. Test planning & Project support for new project

• Support the preparation of validation test plans for connectors, LSR, and terminal crimping.
• Prepare and maintain 4M change documentation for new projects, new test methods, and laboratory process changes in the QMM laboratory.
• Monitor the establishment, implementation, and execution of test methods to ensure readiness for new project launches.

2. New test bench and Fixture release

• Support the design and development of new test benches and fixtures for new test methods and new project requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor the development, validation, and release of new test benches and fixtures to ensure on-time project implementation.
• Verify and validate new test benches and fixtures to ensure compliance with internal standards and product validation requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to fixture design, validation, and release.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting

• Collect, analyze, and summarize validation test results for new test methods and support ECR activities.
• Prepare validation reports and technical documentation.
• Prepare, maintain, and monitor test result visualizations and performance dashboards.
• Support data analysis and reporting for product validation and laboratory activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of work experience in Test Engineer or Manufacturing Engineering with customer interface.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams for quality improvement and complaint management.
• Knowledge of basic drawing and test specification.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and  IATF 16949 requirements.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and dashboards.
• Project management skill is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Good communication skills in English.
