Back End Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems and APIs serving millions of users daily.
- Build performance-critical production applications using Scala, Java, Kotlin, or other modern programming languages.
- Direct significant company-wide projects and establish technical vision.
- Make architectural decisions and set technical standards and direction for the team.
- Implement advanced CI/CD pipelines and robust testing strategies for integration, deployment, and code quality.
- Work with relational databases and potentially NoSQL and queueing systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing performance-critical applications in a production environment.
- Experience with Scala, Java, Kotlin, or relevant modern programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of relational database management systems, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or equivalent.
- Ability to direct significant company-wide projects and set technical vision.
- Deep experience making architectural decisions and establishing technical standards and direction.
- Good command of the English language.
- Preferred knowledge of NoSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, MSMQ, and Play framework.
