About Our Client

Our client is a growing company in the beverage and dairy products industry , seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead its manufacturing site and overall operations in Thailand.

Job Description

• Lead the overall manufacturing site and operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence.
• Drive production planning and control to ensure capacity and output consistently meet business and customer demand.
• Optimise factory performance through continuous improvement, process optimisation, capacity utilisation, and downtime reduction.
• Lead and develop the site leadership team and workforce, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
• Ensure operational compliance with food safety, quality, health and safety, and regulatory standards.
• Partner with senior management and cross-functional teams to support business growth, capacity expansion, and long-term operational strategy.

The Successful Applicant

A successful General Manager (Operation) should have:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, production, plant, or operations management , ideally within the FMCG, food, beverage, dairy, or related industries .
• Proven experience managing a manufacturing site or factory , with responsibility for production performance, operational efficiency, and people leadership.
• Strong track record in production control and capacity management , with the ability to ensure manufacturing output consistently meets business demand.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, plant operations, maintenance, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sizeable operational teams and build a strong performance culture.
• Highly hands-on and comfortable working closely with the factory and operational teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance day-to-day operational execution with longer-term business growth .
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels of the organisation.
• Experience in beverage, dairy, food, or other FMCG manufacturing environments will be highly advantageous.
• Fluency in Thai and English is preferred.
