Job Role
The Business Development Executive – Cybersecurity will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, developing, and closing enterprise opportunities for cybersecurity solutions. The role focuses on consultative solution selling, customer relationship development, account planning, and helping organizations strengthen their security posture through modern cloud-based security technologies.
Working closely with technical consultants, solution architects, strategic technology partners, and enterprise customers, the successful candidate will lead the full sales lifecycle—from opportunity identification through contract negotiation—while positioning comprehensive cybersecurity solutions that address customer risk, compliance, identity, endpoint, and cloud security requirements. This position is highly suitable for experienced enterprise technology sales professionals with strong cybersecurity knowledge and proven success selling security solutions to executive-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to identify new business opportunities and expand enterprise cybersecurity sales.
- Drive consultative sales of enterprise cybersecurity solutions, including identity security, endpoint protection, cloud security, compliance, governance, SIEM, endpoint management, and zero trust security architectures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers, executive stakeholders, and technology decision-makers to understand business challenges and security priorities.
- Lead customer discussions on cybersecurity strategy, cloud security adoption, data protection, compliance, analytics, and AI-enabled security initiatives.
- Manage the complete enterprise sales lifecycle, including prospecting, opportunity qualification, proposal preparation, RFP responses, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.
- Collaborate closely with solution architects, technical consultants, partner organizations, and vendor sales teams to develop competitive customer solutions.
- Maintain strong knowledge of emerging cybersecurity technologies, cloud platforms, compliance requirements, and evolving cyber threat landscapes.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new revenue opportunities and strengthen market positioning.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and account development plans while ensuring achievement of revenue and growth targets.
- Deliver professional customer presentations, solution demonstrations, and executive-level business discussions focused on measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of enterprise technology sales experience, preferably within cybersecurity, cloud security, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise software solutions.
- Proven experience managing enterprise B2B sales cycles from lead generation through contract negotiation and account management.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, enterprise security frameworks, threat landscapes, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on commercial knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, and modern cloud security solutions.
- Strong familiarity with enterprise security technologies, including identity and access management, endpoint security, SIEM, compliance, governance, endpoint management, and Zero Trust security architecture.
- Experience engaging C-level executives, CISOs, IT Directors, Security Architects, Compliance leaders, and enterprise decision-makers.
- Proven consultative selling capability with the ability to translate technical solutions into measurable business value.
- Experience collaborating with global technology vendors, partner ecosystems, or strategic alliance teams is highly preferred.
- Strong business development, account management, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly self-driven, commercially focused, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple enterprise opportunities simultaneously.
- Professional-level English communication skills, both written and spoken, are required. Additional regional language capability will be considered an advantage.
